These are the shelves you'll pick from. The picking itself happens right after you join — checkout opens your personal picking page, where you choose each line above (and can change your mind as often as you like until the window closes).
How your month runs
You pick a month ahead. Cold-process soap needs four to six weeks on the curing rack before it's any good, so knowing in early January what's going in your February box is the only way you get the scent you actually asked for instead of whatever was left over.
- The 1st. A link lands in your inbox — your own picker page. Everything that's in stock, every scent, no password to remember.
- By the 10th. You choose. Takes about a minute, and you can change your mind as many times as you like until the window shuts.
- The rest of the month. Your bars get poured, cut and cured, and the box gets wrapped — with weeks of daylight instead of a panic.
- The 3rd of the next month. It goes in the post, or it's set aside for you at the next Ashland market. Shipping's already in the price.
- Never opened the link? We fill it with whatever's freshest and deepest in stock and send it anyway. Nobody gets an empty month.
Before you sign up
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your own billing page. Month-to-month stops at the end of the month you've paid for; prepaid runs out the months you bought and then stops. No phone call, no "are you sure" three times.
Why is pickup cheaper?
Because there's no postage in it. Same box either way — you just grab it from us at an Ashland market or off the porch instead of the mail carrier bringing it.
Can I skip a month?
Text (804) 496-1884 before the 10th — that's while the picking window for that box is still open. We'll skip it and push your billing out a month. No penalty, and it doesn't cancel anything.
Why am I picking so far ahead?
So the soap is actually cured. A cold-process bar poured today isn't ready to use for four to six weeks. Locking your picks a month early means your box gets made on purpose for you, not pulled from whatever happened to be dry that week.
What if something's out of stock?
Then it isn't on your picker page that month — you only ever choose from what's actually made and sitting on the shelf. Nothing gets substituted behind your back.
